The driver of a tractor trailer found herself jammed up underneath a railroad bridge on East Lindsay Street Monday morning.
Stella Trent was driving eastbound just after 10 a.m. when she attempted to drive under the bridge, according to Greensboro police and the company that owns the truck, TCI Logistics Inc.
The truck was 18 inches taller then the bridge's clearance. The truck was 13 feet, 6 inches. The bridge has a clearance of 12 feet.
Trent sustained minor injuries.
Norfolk Southern examined the bridge and it was not damaged, police said.
Lindsay Street is closed between North Murrow Boulevard and North Church Street. It is expected to be closed until about 4 p.m. while the truck is unloaded and then towed.
